The reunited Hard Rock legends Rainbow are playing their only concert in Germany in the UFO in Velodrom next week and we still have some tickets to give away fort his unforgettable concert!
Ritchie Blackmore, the former guitarist of one of the most influential rock groups of all time, Deep Purple („Smoke On The Water“), founded Rainbow in 1974 with legendary Ronnie James Dio (later singer of Black Sabbath) which was active for ten years and produced countless cult classics in the Hard Rock scene such as „Starstruck“, „Long Live Rock’n’Roll“, „Gates Of Babylon“, „Since You’ve Been Gone“ or the epic 8:12 minutes long high speed trip „A Light In The Black“.
After more and more drifiting towards Middle Age themed Pagan Rock with his band Blackmore’s Night (with his wife Candice Night), Blackmore now decided to get back to his proto-metal-roots. In 2015 he set up a new line up fort he band consisting of Lords Of The Black’s singer Ronnie Romero, Jens Johansson from Stratovarius on keys, David Keith on drums and bassman Bob Curiano, whom with Blackmore had already been working with in Blackmore’s Night.
