It’s summer in Berlin which means temperature is finally kind enough to let you strut your stuff at open airs around the city without fear of freezing in your holographic patent shoes. Cool, right? Celebrations start as early as Wednesday when the spreeside garden of Ipse plays host to a flashy GEIST showcase with a lineup full of gems.
Minimal tech leading lady Magda, who recently braced the cover of DJ MAG as part of their “Women in Music” special edition will be headlining proceedings. The Polish-rooted, Detroit-schooled selector and producer’s accolades are far too lengthy to cite here, but if you’ve been living in a cave for the past couple of decades, here’s a taster that will give you a fair idea of what’s to come.

There’s no Benoit without Sergio. Unlike most of Berlin’s club regulars, the duo skipped Sonar this year and played their digs among fjords in Iceland. They’re now cooler than ever and bringing their live gear for the occasion. Expect a minimum of two laptops triggering a zillion new and familiar cuts under the careful surveillance of Ipse’s chandelier.
