Las Vegas native Shamir is bringing the vibes to Kantine Am Berghain this coming Tuesday. The high-pitched vocalist released his first EP Northtown on hyped-up New-York label Godmode earlier this year and has kept the blog scene patiently drooling for more of his trademarked off center R&B with added touches of funk (and strangely enough country music on his beautiful cover of Lindi Ortega‘s Lived And Died Alone).
Shamir has since gone on to sign with XL and his new single On The Regular has been named best new track by Pitchfork.
The young artist is bringing his live show to Berghain Kantine with support from Fitness, Courtship as well as DJ sets by Local Suicide favorite Sofia Kourtesis & Les Filles Noires. We have 4×2 tickets to give-away for the show, to get involved simply leave a comment.
