Ashvin Mani Sharma AKA Calm Chor releases in April his new album Tech Twist. Ashvin has been a part of the Indian electronic music scene since 1995 and has started deejaying in 1998. He is one of the founders of Jalebee Cartel, along with Ash Roy and Arjun Vagale, where he keeps himself busy with a laptop and synths.
Jalebee Cartel is a live electronic act from Dehli, India. Since it’s formation in 2004, the band has been releasing on several labels and playing round the globe, armed with laptops and Indian percussion Tabla. With individual DJ Set to collective live gigs, from Indian underground clubs, to Future Music Festival Asia and to well-known German festival Fusion, they’ve been hitting the console roughly.
This month, Calm Chor proudly presents his 10 track debut album. Standing right between techno and progressive house, Tech Twist shall bring some good vibes to European endless nights during the summer, as Sharma along with his pals will come play in Berlin. Stay tuned for the gigs schedule!
