For me, the highlight of this week´s London Fashion Week was the A/W 2011 collection of Felipe Rojas Llanos from Chile. His collection was all about the silhouette and the mixture of fabrics. Clean, minimal and striking outfits marked the show and the colour palette mainly consisted of blacks, turquoises and reds. When asked about the inspiration for his collection Felipe stated that “the main inspiration for our collection this season comes from a scene from Michael Powell’s movie The Red Shoes, and our mood is taken from the brilliant The Black Swan, which we were lucky enough to see at the London Film Festival back in October. Both these films started the design process for this collection”.
