Fashion: Song for the Mute

Just a couple of days ago, the Australian menswear labe Song for the Mute (led by by Melvin Tanaya and Lyna Ty) has been announced as the L`Oreal Fashion Festival Designer Award. Their use of Australian wool, including the refined medium of boiled wool, grabbed the attention of the prestigious judging panel and Woolmark, who presented the award. Their adorable AW 2011 collection is delicate and fresh. The fabrics reflects the Australian nature whilst the fine tailoring and the silhouettes speak to European sensibilities and cosmopolitan roots. I definitely like the collection very, very much.
