Year after year Exit’s visitors are becoming more and more. They are actually coming from different parts of the country and Europe to attend one of the largest music festivals in Europe, featuring the biggest names from the most vibrant and cutting edge scenes around and at the same time enjoy the cool atmosphere of the fortress and the positive energy of the city.

From its humble beginnings as a student initiated project against the Milosivic regime, EXIT is now gaining international recognition and defining the new generation of young people in Serbia. It’s more than just a festival as it’s an opportunity for young people to stand up for what they believe in and do so in a creative and positive way – and above all else to party long and hard with thousands of like-minded people.

takes place in the historic Petrovaradin Fortress, which is built high on the banks of the River Danube and offers stunning views over the city of Novi Sad. The ancient fortress site was originally occupied by the Romans, and re-built by the Austro Hungarian Empire to defend against the Turks in the 17th Century.
