After almost three years after their album “Fields”, the Swedish trio Junip is back with a self-titled album, that is coming out 0n April 19th on City Slang. And judging from the first single “Line Of Fire”, it seems that Jose González and his gang (Elias Araya on the drums and Tobias Winterkorn on the Keys) did their magic again.
“It’s about growing up and taking responsibility in that moment when all of a sudden your life changes, you’re in a new situation,” quotes González. “Your ideals are challenged, and you have to think things through from a new angle.”
The video is directed by Mikel Cee Karlsson and it’s very Scandinavian – I must say. Scandinavian colors, Scandinavian looking and dressed people staring at each other and weird scenes, that make you wonder why Scandinavian people always have to make films that kind of creep you out, but still manage to make you keep watching and somehow like them in the end.
