Bonjay, a Spice Island slang for “Good God!” were born at one of Ottawa‘s legendary Disorganised parties. Alanna Stuart went up to Ian “Pho” Swain, who was djing at the party and the rest is history. They started doing remixes for labels like Mad Decent, Ninjatune and Ghetto Arc (XL Recordings) and now they are releasing their own staff as well. Their latest release is their mini-album “Broughtupsy”. Their sound is different: dancehall, grime, electronic and indie at the same time! This is the video for their track Creepin’, which could be used as a small survivor’s kit in Alaska, listen to their tracks on soundcloud and download their track Want A Gang remixed by South Carolina Hard Mix and their track Creepin in a dub goth version remixed by the Teachers.
