It’s a swiss affair as La Vie C’est Facile make their first appearance on Creaked. The Biel/Bienne duo have steadily been making a name for themselves, collaborating with collectives like La Ménagerie and Tomorrow Is Today rushing DJ booths, filibustering decks and spreading futuristic club sounds across the valley.
Fun Zone, their debut EP for Creaked sees them mix up grime, hip-hop, techno and jersey vibes over the course of 5 disjointed bass heavy weapons. Today we have pleasure of premiering the opening track of the EP, the ballistic trauma showing Racer Z. Like attempting to meditate after making your way through a family-sized pack of Adderall, La Vie C’est Facile sit a violently broken beat atop contemplative synths and agitated basses, filling up the sonic spectrum yet managing to sound pretty minimalistic. Listen on.
Fun Zone is out October 5th on Creak. Check out the series of video teasers for the video just below and make sure to give their remix of Kelis’ Caught Out There a listen.
