LSD Faze Time: Sindrome

When we say that Sindrome is midway of Heaven and Hell, we do not always know where he’s headed towards. Superdition. the album is full of these black strokes of genius, of those flashes of dark truths animal. The spirit of cold wave, the connivance of the electroclash and the dark lyricism of The Cure.
Disturbing and captivating both.

“After years of publishing in various literary magazines while working as an editor, Alex embarks Sindrome music quickly and holds the attention of The Hacker or Radio Nova. In 2006 he released the EP AUTOLARGUE that contains a bonus track, a remix of “1977” by Lifelike. It chronicles the early harvest enthusiastic (often cited in the dark and provocative Bashung Gainsbourg). In 2008 he appears on the compilation output in Mark XIII Citizen Records with artists like Vitalic, IAMX, The Hacker or Arnaud Rebotini .

His first album entitled SUPERDITION is available on all download platforms since May 7, 2012.

Here is an interactive interview to discover SINDROME :

My name is Alex Sindrome. I was born in Neverland and grew up as I could. When I was a child my idol was Michael Jackson, because he looked, moved and sounded like he was some kind of absolute genius coming from another planet. When  I was six, I started writing (bad) short stories and poems all the time. It was then when I realised that I wouldn’t be able to live without writing constantly, in a way or another and decided to work on it over the years. Since then I just write, more often now it becomes lyrics for my songs.

One of my best gigs I played was in my dreams. It was so much fun seeing all the crowd wearing wolves masks and howling between the songs! One of the best gigs I have been to was Nine Inch Nails at the Bataclan back in 1994. I loved the fierce energy, almost madness that Trent Reznor had at that time (and totally lost since then).

Now I live in a new found peace with myself. In my house you can find thousands of toys and my fridge is usually full with cans of Dr Pepper. I enjoy rollercoasters and horror movies a lot. I can spend hours listening to Michel Polnareff’s Viens te Faire Chahuter over and over and over again since I discovered it when I was 13. One of my favorite places to visit is New York, because based on my very own tastes, it’s the most beautiful city I’ve ever seen.
On weekdays I smoke too much and on weekends I usually take care of my headache.
My favorite song at the moment is Space from Magic Wands’s album. A film I watched lately and really liked was Boy Wonder. The last series I watched and loved was Breaking Bad.
I am very inspired by the dark side of human nature. I love few things and hate too many. I am addicted to the woman of my life, I just cannot stop loving and admiring her.
I get totally fucked up, when I can’t find real sleep for 3 or 4 days in a row. The next day I need to convince myself I can do the regular things without killing anyone!

Local Suicide reminds me of passion and the absolute freedom that should always stand with it.

Tomorrow I‘ll work on some of the short stories I wrote few years ago and plan to share soon. Next month I’ll be back in New York. Next year I’ll be dead according to my Maya calendar! In 10 years I hope all animals will take their revenge over man’s cruelty and selfishness  in a definitive twist.

If I wasn’t a dreamer, I would be a living dead.
If my life was a Hollywood movie, Will Ferrell would have the main role, because it would really make sense, in fact. If I could have sex with anyone, it would be no one but the woman I’m with.
If I was a car, I would be a DeLorean DMC-12 for sure! If I was an animal, I would be a wolf living far away from Man. If I was a drug I would be the world’s most popular drug as I saw in an article recently: caffeine. If I was an invention, I would be junk food (BK addict). If I was an object, I would be a minimalist shuriken. If I could date myself, I would stood myself up.

If I could play with anyone it would be… even dead ones? Because then Alain Bashung. I would like to collaborate with… can’t think of anyone, really, coming to doing music I’m quite a loner.
If I had only one wish, it would be having a coffee and a cool talk with my grandfather. Miss him everyday.
I would never hurt an animal because people doing so are making me sick.

My word of advice to the reader would be live fast, die later.
