Our names are Arndt and Marko but you might know us as Tube & Berger. We were born in Cologne and grew up in the ugly streets of Solingen. In our childhood our idol was the guy from 36 chambers of the Shaolin and Kurt Cobain, because revolution wasn’t a hashtag. We met in the schoolbus and hated each other. In 1996 we decided to switch from punk rock to house & techno and we started with Propellerheads ReBirth 338. Since then we hung out together and made music almost everyday.

One of the best gigs we played was (don‘t know if it was one of our best gigs but the excitement was huge when we played) Tomorrowland for Ants. It was so much fun realizing that this is what you actually worked for and sharing passion and love with the people. One of the best gigs we have been to was The Chemical Brothers in Düsseldorf. We loved the energy and the visuals.

Now we live in the countryside with our families. We meet every 2 days to discuss things and make music. We sometimes argue when there is an opportunity to argue, but then we remind ourselves that we love each other and want to achieve the same goals. We enjoy having a quiet one and partying hard a lot. We can spend hours reading. One of our favorite places to visit is Japan, because it’s so different, oldschool and tasty. On weekdays we spend time with our families and meet in the studio later and on weekends we usually travel. Our favorite song at the moment is ‘A Three Legged Work Horse’ by This Will Destroy You. A film we watched lately and liked was Solo. We are very inspired by open minded intelligent people. Our dream is to wake up and have peace on earth. Our worst nightmare is losing the people we love. We love so many people, things and situations and hate hate. We are addicted to various behaviors, substances and beings, we just cannot stop to believe that we are all one. We get totally fucked up, when we get fooled by those who are in control.

Local Suicide reminds us of Humid Berlin summer nights.

Tomorrow we fly to Munich and play at Grüne Sonne Festival. Next month is full of festivals and sunny weather (we hope). Next year we‘ll have a lot to do. In 10 years we hope we won’t use plastic anymore and free ourselves

If we weren’t Tube & Berger, we would be lost. If our lives were a Hollywood movie, Robert De Niro and Al Pacino would have the main roles, because there is some Gangsta shizzle missing in LOTR. If we were a car, we would be a non existing car. If we were an animal, we would be a monkey. If we were a drug, we would be weed. If we were an invention, we would be a pretty useless one. If we were an object, we would be a meteor..?! If we could date ourselves, we would probably get fucked up. If we could play with anyone it would be our kids. We would like to collaborate with Mike Patton. If we had only one wish, it would be trees hugging you back. We would never betray our beloved ones, because they are everything that matters.

Our word of advice to the reader would be to kill his or her TV.
