LSD presents: Berlin Fashion Week Report

As BBB, Bright, Seek and everybody else are sending out their Berlin Fashion Week reports and videos, here is ours. Our angle is that Fashion Week is about way more than just fashion in Berlin, it is about networking, coming together discovering new things and having fun.
Among things to do, go everywhere, collect six months worth of free stickers, tote bags and magazines. The Bright magazine and the Bread & Butter brand bibles are every year’s winners: the bible has a striking silver mirror top this year and the Bright magazine features its best layout and artwork so far.

Go to Bread and Butter in Tempelhof and walk around: some brands are super creative in ways of showing their products, models on treadmills for Gsus Sindustries, or carrying axes around for Scandinavian magazine Code. And of course workshops: make your own tee-shirt chair, dye your own leather with non-chemical products with Ecco Leather, customise your jeans and tees… And don’t forget to check out Berlin’s local DJ daylong lineups including  Inappropriate Touch dancing with a drone HERE!

Bright has moved to Jandorf; the trade show feels way cosier and offers services such as barber and tattooing, free wifi, and as usual a chillax area as Fashion Week can be exhausting. And because Bright is still a family affair, you can catch the organisers on site: we met and had a chat with international marketing director Mathieu Tourneur (second row/second photo below).

And finally, the night events! Too many to talk about, Giorgio Moroder at Bread & Butter, Brooke Candy, Diesel’s new icon at Dandy Diaries, the House of Vans Boiler Room, the epic Muschi Kreuzberg party… and Sxx Sells as house-warming party for Conny Opper’s new club Palast Neukölln
