Berlin’s Music Week starts in a couple of days and so does its highlight, the Berlin Festival: a city festival that has been mixing hip-hop, pop, rock, techno and other bouncy what-not plus art and other happenings for nine years already.
Big news this year, the festival moved from historic Tempelhof to the welcoming Arena/White Trash/Badeschiff area. What does this mean for festival-goers? Lots of space and different atmospheres to roam, lots of green, near-by nightlife & eateries, and a possibility to take a swim in the afternoon… much better than sitting around on the oil-stained grey concrete of the old airport – and yeah probably better sound too!
For the occasion, Your Mom’s Agency asked Berlin Festival’s co-creator and face, Conny Opper, to hand-pick his favorite tracks from some of the festival’s artists. Enjoy the selection mixed by Local Suicide: eclectic sounds, going from urban dancy tracks to more technoid ones finally landing on relaxing end-of-the-summer easy-going tracks.
