If you will be in Berlin this Friday July 19th, you shouldn’t miss the Curle Recordings Night taking place at Suicide Circus. One look at the release list of the Belgian label already sets the tone for what you should expect! Ranging from artists like Lucy, Thomas Brinkmann, Move D, Efdemin to Albert Van Abbe, Franklin De Costa and Frank Martiniq, who will be performing on Friday, the label’s variety is only exceeded by its high quality standards. House and techno are not antagonizing, but rather two sides of the same coin.
Albert Van Abbe plays a modern, dark kind of techno, which can be found in sets of artists like Chris Liebing, Skudge and many more. For this evening he prepared a special live/DJ hybrid, which we are really excited about!
Franklin De Costa and Frank Martiniq are known for their never cheesy and rather dark house productions, but also for their unique approach to techno. As DJ’s their trademark is their versatility and their sheer unmatched experience. Supporting the trio is the always-effective Curle labelhead Fader and Suicide Circus’ extraordinary resident Adrian Friedrich.
We are giving away 2×2 tickets, so be quick and write in a comment underneath, who you are looking forward to see play.
