New Music: The Cinematic Orchestra – A Caged Bird/Imitations Of Life

The Cinematic Orchestra announced the release of their highly anticipated new album ‘To Believe‘ for March 15th, 2019 on Ninja Tune.

The new album is following up on their last studio album ‘Ma Fleur‘ which was released 12 years ago and included their popular single ‘To Built A Home’ (feat. Patrick Watson) which was used in many movies & TV adverts.

The new album will have contributions from old and new collaborators such as Moses SumneyRoots ManuvaHeidi VogelGrey Reverend, Dorian Concept and TawiahMiguel Atwood-Ferguson (Flying Lotus, Anderson Paak, Thundercat, Hiatus Kaiyote) features on strings and photographer and visual artist Brian “B+” Cross collaborated with Swinscoe and Smith on the album’s concept. The record was mixed by multiple Grammy winner Tom Elmhirst (David Bowie, Frank Ocean, Adele) in Jimi Hendrix’s legendary Electric Lady studios
