Angel Olsen has such a unique voice- fragile, but electrifying at the same time! She grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and started performing at the age of 16 at coffee shops. Her first LP, Half Way Home followed a mesmerizing mood pattern under a folk acoustic guitar tempo, while her second album Burn Your Fire for No Witness, produced by the eminent John Congleton and out February 18th via Jagjaguwar, sounds explosive matching her intense voice. The Chicago-based folk singer’s lead single “Forgiven/Forgotten” has psy-pop and punk elements all blended to fire us up!
