Darwin Deez is back after 3 years with his new album ‘Songs For Imaginative People‘ which will be released feb 8,2013 via Lucky Numbers / Cooperative Music.

The new album was self-recorded and produced in Asheville, North Carolina and Charlie Andrew who was recently working with Alt-J & Eugene McGuinness mixed it.

The first single  ‘Free (The Editorial Me)’ is now released as a video, directed by Ninian Doff (JJ DOOM, Wavves, Metronomy). Stereogum describe it nice: ‘Deez plays a slacker bodega clerk who realizes he’s trapped in some kind of momentary Groundhog Day time-vortex. When he tries to break out of it, things get weird. ‘
