Thumbs up for the Greek Minor Mine, who impress us once again with their new video attached to the sulky and lyrical track “Out of Heaven“.
MM is K (lead vocals, acoustic-electric guitar and mandolin), Nick Brave (keys, trumpet, theremin and back vocals), Johnny (bass and electric guitar) and George Animal (drums, percussion). They have supported concerts for Tuxedomoon, Murder by Death, Peter Murphy, Savage Republic, The Ex, Wovenhand, The Band of Holy Joy, while in the spring of 2010 they released independently their debut album “Where they go“. In December 2011 they collaborated with Radio Joy (Johnny Brown and members of The Band of Holy Joy), presenting “Beuys will be Beuys”- an audiovisual live show in Thessaloniki.
At the same time they started recording their second album “Out Of Heaven“. After last November’s self-release of its second album, the band has already managed the new official video of the song with the same title. “Out of heaven” is a low budget project and it is shot, directed and produced by Minor Mine and friends with the big support of the Indiegogo funders. The shooting of the clip took place at Korinos Pieria big area and lasted 2 days. A crew of about 15 people in total participated in it and had big fun for many hours under the sun.
The musical arrangement of the track is outstanding. The prevalence of the mysterious and dusky voice and words of K , accompanied by a wicked organ and the electric guitar rhythm set the right atmospheric mood for a road trip on the other side of the Atlantic!
