New Video: Prawn – Rooftops

Prawn, the four piece band from New Jersey, shared today this brilliant and unique video for the track “Rooftops” from their new album, Run that they released last year. The video is about the stress and anxiety one experiences when living in the city, in contrast with the tranquility and harmony the countryside emits.

The drummer of the band Jamie Houghton explains more about the video:

“The main theme we wanted to portray was finding nature more appealing than a urban setting. We wanted to depict feelings of frustration and isolation caused by these very settings. We pictured a close relationship of a dog and it’s owner to show that sometimes, a natural environment is all that’s essential. Especially when dealing with the absurdity of a city or the suburbs. Also, who doesn’t love a dog party?”

The band is set to undertake on a headlining winter tour; they will head out west in the US with their friends Caravela.
