Stream: Arcade Fire – Reflektor

It is here!  The most anticipated album earlier this year, Arcade Fire ‘s Reflector is available for streaming from today on the YouTube account of the Montreal group.

After having kept waiting us with a series of teasers, shared many extracts, members of Arcade Fire ended last night the suspense they maintained for nearly six months by unveiling their fourth album, a “lyric video” for about an hour and a half.

Whose images, like “Afterlife” are those of the film Orpheu Negro by Marcel Camus, who reviste the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice and such a touching tribute to Laurence Fishburne.
We can feel James Murphy’s influence is all over this and it’s nice to see how they keep reinventing themselves even as numerous other bands ape their previous work.
5 years from now you will see every new band on SNL try to sound like this.
