New Video: Ariel Pink – Put Your Number In My Phone

ariel pink band
Ariel Pink  begun writing songs around the age of 10, and has made various underground releases starting from 1996 until 2009. His latest album was the acclaimed Mature Themes in 2012. He has been lo-fi along his musical paths with his band Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti. But rather this time the record he is up to is credited to just Ariel Pink, although Pink paradoxically calls it “by far the least ’solo’ record I have ever recorded.”  Its name is pom pom, it’s a double LP and will be out November 18 via 4AD. We are so looking forward to it!

The album’s first single resembles of his “Only in my dreams” kind of tracks and the album cover is designed by Holy Shit’s Matt Fishbeck. It will be one of 17 tracks of the pom pom‘s 69 minutes and four sides. It is a soft melodic British pop song that features what appears to be a voicemail of a girl, who hasn’t heard from him, kinda asking him out.

Watch the fresh video and check out the pom pom tracklist.
