Both producers and talent Surkin & Bobmo unite again with this third EP on Sound Pellegrino, simply titled Udon / Work, titles of songs composed by the duo on this maxi.
The latter begins by Udon, a real massacre and future club anthem Ghetto mixing rhythms, vocals and hardcore breaks plan for you lead her to another planet. One feels rather quickly inspirations Surkin and Bobmo, hand of cards in the House of Chicago still in the work of immeasurable Todd Edwards. Certainly one Top of the year.
Second original piece of PE, Work it is a tad below Udon: the song proves to be less powerful, less efficient, but his exotic appearance is not displeasing to us. As for the remixes, they are rather uneven: it goes from very good to that of Julio Bashmore (Special mention to the times, absolutely fantastic) to worst with that of Tom Trago, which despite its seductive side, is not really catchy and remains soft throughout its 6 minutes 36 seconds in length.
This nineteenth Pellegrino Sound output is therefore a pleasant surprise this March, despite a somewhat disappointing B-side. Waiting until 14 will be long in the meantime, listen to previews of the four.
