The third release of the Australian Swick named Flick It Up is coming out next monthon the Finnish label Top Billin. Composed of two original songs and three remixes, it turns out to be a pleasant club surprise club that is certainly of a high level.
House well produced with well-placed voice cuts: this is how Swick’s title track Flick It Up gives us with its jerky sound and its short duration an effect that almost combines Grime and Pop (which also characterizes the cover of the EP).
Side B Be Stupid turns out to be much more effective than the A side: his frenetic pace is perfect for synth melody lovers, and its powerful ascent offers us a much more Electro effect.
Finally, Myd, Will Bailey and Lucid offer their own visions of the EP tracks: the much more languid and sensual Be Stupid using beautiful Ghetto House rhythms.
He adds up class and efficiency to flick it up with repeated climbs to which he gives every time a progressive intensity.
Its release is scheduled for May 6 in the meantime, you can enjoy both original songs of Myd here:
