I Am Love are one of those folky bands who catch you off guard – and you get addicted to, fast.
The personification of whiskey drinking music, this is they type of stuff we’d expect to hear in O Tannenbaum or Tier Bar. While they’ve played SXSW, CMJ and NXNE, this Pennsylvania-based band has a forthcoming self-titled album set out for release on January 15, 2015. Folk to the core, they have a unique, soulful sound that brings together instruments like a sax, cello and woodwinds to create what they call “the archaic sound of the future.”
“We make music to inspire people to be their highest selves, to know that they too can create,” they say.
